Red carpet: a reading lesson for B2 students

Howdy, fellow teachers!

I haven’t posted anything in a while because life got in the way but I’ve managed to plan this lesson today and make some time to post it here.

This is a reading lesson that follows the following outline:

• Lead-in

• Reading to confirm predictions

• Reading for detail

• Reading for specific information

• Follow-up

The reading tasks were extracted from the British Council Learn English Teens website and adapted for Wordwall games. Your students can play these games and you’ll find the link for them in the presentation.
